2020 season begins with doubleheader at Holyoke

2 nights of winged Lightning Sprint Racing kicked off the delayed start to the 2020 season. Night one was won by #26 Chris Crowder with #44 Brent Sexton and #3 Dalton Sexton rounding out the top three.

Johnny Boos is the 2019 RMLSA POWRI Champion

Johnny Boos in the Boos Family #24B R1 powered Hyper won the 2019 Championship, with a season high 7 feature wins and 12 podium finishes. Jenn Woods in the Woods #86 GSXR Hyper took 2nd in points ,with Josh Flood in the Flood Race Products #7 Honda Powered Fab Tech rounded out the top three for 2019. This season saw 30 drivers take part, with 8 drivers winning feature races over 17 race nights.

Jenn Woods makes it two in a row!

18 POWRI RMLSA Lightning Sprints made the trip on a cold blustery night to El Paso County Raceway for the final race of the 2019 Season. Heats were won by #24B Johnny Boos and 61B Lance Bennett. The feature race saw a couple flipped cars. #1 Toy Ullery and #24B Johnny Boos both flipped in separate incidents. Both drivers were OK. Jenn Wood took the checkered flag for win #2 in a row . #7 Josh Flood and #26 Chris Crowder rounded out the final 2019 podium. #39x Dakota Dillin and #00 Jacob Hazlett rounded out the top five, #32 Blair Cooper, #23 Culle Potoker, #61B Lance Bennett, #31 Steve Becker and #61 Jesse Fernandez rounded out the top ten. The #3JJoel Mellon, #3 Rick Marchbank, #33 Gale Ingram, #24 B Johnny Boos, #1 Troy Ullery and #20 Dale Johnston rounded out the field.
