Don Flood Memorial June 4th

What a great day of racing at I-76 Speedway to honor Don Flood yesterday!

We had eleven cars show up ready to run a great night of racing. #00 of Bruce Swain made his first race debut with RMLSA.

Two heat races were ran with only one yellow thrown. It came in the first heat due to the #44 Ryan Rader having some issues. #24B Johnny Boos would go on to win the first heat, and #7 Josh Flood winning the second heat.

The A-Main line up was set with an invert draw of two by Johnny Boos. The invert put #7 Josh Flood on the pole and #24B Johnny Boos on the outside. Second row featured #71 Frank Martinez and #21B BJ Sauer.

This was one of the fastest, if not the fastest race in RMLSA history. The race was ran green, white, checkered with a time of around 4 minutes and 27 seconds. Johnny Boos took home his third win of the season, with Josh Flood taking second. Both men battled it's possible if we had a few more laps who knows what could have happened. #21B BJ Sauer would take third, followed by #71 Frank Martinez and #26 Chris Crowder to round out your top five.

Saturday, May 14th

Another great weekend of racing in the books. 15 Cars showed up with 14 starting in the feature. Heat 1 was won by #13 Josiah King and Heat 2 was won by #24B Johnny Boos. Unfortunately the #1 of Troy Ullery had some issues that would end his night in the second heat.

With the heats in the books the lineups were set for the feature. An invert pull of 2 by Josiah King put Boos on the pole and King on the Outside. Followed by #71 Frank Martinez, #7 Josh Flood, and from Missouri #22 Chase Fisher to round out the top 5.

Boos took no time and held the lead from start to finish. One yellow came out as the #11 of Brock Purvis blew his engine. Clean and fun racing was had. Congratulations to Johnny Boos for winning his second feature as well as #71 Frank Martinez for his second place finish and #13 Josiah King for his third place finish.
